Nike, originally known as Blue Ribbon Sports, was founded by University of Oregon track athlete Philip Knight and his coach Bill Bower man in January 1964. The company initially operated as a distributor for Japanese shoe maker Onitsuka Tiger, making most sales at track meets out of Knight's automobile.
The company's profits grew quickly, and in 1966, BRS opened its first retail store, located on Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica, California. By 1971, the relationship between BRS and Onitsuka Tiger was nearing an end. BRS prepared to launch its own line

Swagger x Nike Terminator “Mint Chocolate”
Japanese brand Swagger put together these wild Terminators in honor of Mint Chocolate sweets. Ice cream, Andes, you name it, the two flavors are great together. Swagger kept them separate for this release though, with the left shoe serving as “chocolate” and the right as “mint.”

Nike LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat”
Although we probably will not see LeBron James lace up the Nike LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat” (considering the Miami Heat jerseys do not match), you can expect to see everybody but King James sporting this sneaker. The Nike LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat” has become a part of everyone’s must-have list since it surfaced last week. Check out these new, detailed photos of this highly-anticipated sneaker.
The Nike LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat” colorway is obviously inspired by Miami Vice
Its buttery leather upper, colored mainly in Filament Green, makes for a very unique, eye-catching color scheme. Pink Flash hints appear on the laceholders, tongue border and LeBron/Nike logo on the heel. Is it safe to say the Nike LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat” is an instant classic within LeBron’s signature line? Look for this sneaker to release this Saturday, October 16th, I know Today is Monday but hey their at select retailers nationwide I was trying to get mine first.

Nike LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat” Drop November 12th
Earlier today we caught word of the upcoming Nike LeBron 8 “Pre-Heat”. Now we get our first look at this Miami Vice inspired colorway. Sporting an aqua upper met by black and pink accents this is certainly one of the louder and flashier LeBron 8 makeups yet. This colorway is rumored to have a release date of October 16th at the new Miami House of Hoops followed by October 17th at select Nike stores in Miami and a November 12th drop date online at Nike Store. Now that we have a good look is the Lebron 8 “Pre-Heat” a must cop?
